Regarding the recent health situation, we have decided to favour security and comfort. Therefore we offer exclusively private tours, we wear masks and we respect the social distancing as well as all World Health Organisation’s recommendations. From now on, the Gironde department requires a health pass for visits and tastings. It will be requested upon your arrival. The boutique remains available without a health pass.
We offer you the possibility to come and taste three of our wines: the Reignac White, the Château de Reignac and the Grand Vin de Reignac.
This free tasting of approximately half an hour will allow you to discover our prestigious wines.
You can always book later a wine tour with one of our guides if you want to learn more about our history and the way we make wines. You will have the privilege to have a wine tasting in our astonishing tasting tower from the 16th century
The beauty of Château de Reignac and the quality of our wine-tours have been awarded with the international price Best Of Wine Tourism 2015, 2016 (Gold) and 2018 (Gold) and the certificate of Excellence TripAdvisor 2015, 2016, 2017 and 2018. DON'T MISS THE PIGEON HOUSE TASTING ROOM
"Our tour guide there was a lovely, friendly and informative young lady named Mona. She was phenomenal. The place was working and busy as they were harvesting grapes. She gave a thorough tour that included their Pigeon House- turned tasting room! Spectacular place and surprisingly good wine. Highly recommended."
"We made a short tour of Bordeaux vineyards in August and tried to visit several estates. At reignac they have been immediatly helpful and willing to let us explore their production. After having visited the cellar and the winery, we have been lucky enough to make an extensive tasting of their most renowed wine named Balthus, a quite structured 100% merlot. The tasting has taken more than half an hour, probably the best among other tastings we had in our stay. We appreciated the kindness of the staff and for sure we recommend everybody to visit this estate."
"We made an appointment to visit after reading positive reviews on Tripadvisor and were not disappointed. The Chateau is in a beautiful setting and the grounds and garden very peaceful. Our English speaking guide Erica was excellent providing information about the production of their wines and the history of the Chateau as well as answering all our questions. The wine tastings were the most professional of any Chateau we visited. We sat down with tasting notes for each wine and Eric provided additional information as we discussed each wine we tasted. The quality of the wines was impressive and the prices very reasonable. We hope they get a distributor in Australia soon!"
"We found the charming Chateau Reignac while cycling nearby in the area. We wanted to do a wine tasting although our trip was very spontaneous. Call to the reception and a guided tour was organized for us in a matter of hours. Our guide was very nice and friendly, and gave us a very thorough introduction not only to the Chateau's production but a kind of history of the area and local wine production practices. Gustave Eiffel also left his mark on the chateau's gardens. We bought three bottles of quality wines on the spot. Excellent service, highly recommended."
