During this wine tour we will discover together our cellar, a union of tradition and modern techniques. You will learn about our vine growing philosophy, the wine making techniques and the aging of our wines. We will explain you in detail our prestige wine, the BALTHUS, a 100% merlot vinified in new French oak barrels using the patented vilification method of Yves Vatelot.
We will have a walk in our beautiful park where you can see the historical greenhouse designed by Gustave Eiffel. The wine tasting takes place in an unique tasting tower, an ancient pigeon house from the XVI century. You will have the opportunity to taste all our four wines : the REIGNAC White, the Château de REIGNAC, the Grand Vin de REIGNAC and the BALTHUS.
The beauty of Château de REIGNAC and the quality of our wine-tours have been awarded with the international price Best Of Wine Tourism 2015, 2016 (Gold) and 2018 (Gold) and the certificate of Excellence TripAdvisor 2015, 2016, 2017 and 2018. PERSONAL TOUR BY THE BEAUTIFUL AND KNOWLEDGEABLE MONA
"Chateau de Reignac makes high quality award winning wines at very reasonable prices (unfortunately all ours is now consumed!) and the staff are keen to demonstrate the vineyard, tell of it's history (the owner invented the epilator!), and provide excellent tasting facilities in the Pigeon house. The house is beautiful though not open to the public."

PRIVATE TOUR
"We arranged for a private tour and tasting. Our guide gave us a very in-depth tour of the entire wine making facilities and vines, then for a tasting in the tower. Highly recommended for anyone traveling in the area."

CHATEAU DE REIGNAC - JUST BEAUTIFUL
"The most beautiful Chateau, in the most beautiful surroundings made for a fun hour or so of wine tasting in the converted pigeonnier. Our guide had excellent English and her knowledge of the wine making and tasting was exceptional, along with their wines. I look forward to drinking my purchases. Definitely a Chateau to visit."

A VERY PERSONAL VISIT
"Our host, Erika, could not have been better, making my wife and me feel very comfortable during our personal tour of this extraordinary Chateau. Her knowledge of the wine making process was excellent, and her command of English was quite good. Touring these grounds was a terrific experience, the barrel rooms, the vineyards, and, of course, walking in and around the ancient and beautiful main Chateau.
Needless to say, the tasting room is a treasure to behold, a converted Pigeonnier, a mall structure in which pigeons and other game birds are raised. This one has two floors. In blind tastings, the top floor is used to prepare and number the bottles, which are lowered to a circular tasting area below. In our case, Erika lowered our tasting bottles, and then, after pouring, explained each wine in a very professional manner. Definitively, one of the most memorable tastings we have had in our extensive travels to many of the world's top wine-making areas.
After visitin six or so Chateau's, we ranked Chateau de Reignac at the top of our list."
