Gold winner of a Best Of Wine Tourism in 2015, the garden is the result of the fabulous idea of the Reignac team to create a place made up of plants whose aromas and flavors could be found in red and white wines.
The Scent Garden is a real immersion in the world of wine aromas, teaching you in the most natural way how incredible our five senses are.
Our garden gathers 40 different species. The idea is to make you touch, smell and taste the different plants, so that you can identify aromas and flavors that we can find later in the tasting.
The Scent Garden will reveal you the secrets of the aromas complexity, the functioning of our brain, our sense of smell and the amazing capacities of our five senses.
During this wine tour, you will learn that taste is a mental construct and that the tongue is not the only one involved in determining the taste of a food. In fact, sight and smell are also very important.
